Capturing is the act of representing something complicated using a simplified version.

You can capture anything – an object, a feeling, an abstract thought. The medium doesn’t matter either- you can capture something with lines, words, musical notes, clay or anything else. You can also capture with a combination of mediums.
In the book, I explain why this seemingly mundane skill (which most of us don’t even think of as a skill at all) is the basic building block of all creative work – the creative atom, if you will.
